Mazda Motors opens a hydrogen filling station near its global headquarters
In order to help development of its new line of hydrogen-powered, rotary engine cars, Mazda Motor company opened a hydrogen fueling station near its global headquarters. This station is the first in the Chugoku region and it is expected to help service its proposed line of hydrogen powered cars, which Mazda expects to bring to the market in two years.

- Mazda Motor Corp said Wednesday it recently opened a hydrogen filling station near its global headquarters in Hiroshima Prefecture for the development of hydrogen rotary vehicles.
- The first hydrogen station in the Chugoku region of western Japan can fuel some 10 vehicles daily, the automaker said.
- Mazda conducted the world's first public road tests of a dual-fuel rotary engine vehicle last October with a plan to start selling such vehicles to the public and businesses in two years, it said.
